Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut potatoes into ¼ inch thick slices, then
quarter those.
Wisk together cream, milk, flour, garlic, salt,
and pepper by hand. Coat pan with butter.
Arrange potatoes on bottom, pour cream mixture over.
Repeat this three more times.
Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes.
Then, uncover and bake 40 minutes until brown.
Sprinkle grated cheese over top and bake 5 to 10
minutes or until melted.
Sprinkle parsley on top.
