In a large skillet, add oil, and saute the onion and garlic until translucent. Add diced fresh tomatoes and chopped basil and simmer. Add salt and pepper to taste.
While this is simmering, cook the pasta. When done, drain and add to the sauce in the skillet and toss gently. Serve immediately.
