Ingredients
Mung Dal/Chana Dal
Grated coconut (opt)
Grated mango (opt)
Grated cucumber (opt)
Green mirchi (opt)
Kari patta (opt)
Mustard (opt)
Jeera (opt)
Hing (opt)
 

Instructions
Soak dal for half an hour. Strain. One version of vada pappu is ready!
You can optionally put tirmata of mustard, jeera and hing. Add finely chopped kari patta and green mirchi. Add either coconut/cucumber or mango! Salt to taste.
Serving Suggestions
Kannadigas serve at least 2 vada pappus daily in their meal!
