Peel and quarter potatoes, boil in salted water for 20 minutes.
Melt 4 tbsp of butter in a large skillet; saute onions and vegetable until tender, then add ground beef until brown. Add salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce and beef broth.
In a medium bowl, mash potatoes and add butter.
Transfer beef to a large baking dish, spread potatoes on top. sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
