2 cups rolled oats

2 cups plain flour

2 cups coconut
|

1 1/2 cups sugar

250g butter
|

4 tablespoons golden syrup

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 tablespoon boiling water

Instructions |

|
Preheat oven to 160C. Lightly grease oven trays.
|
|
|
In a large bowl, place rolled oats, plain flour,
coconut, sugar. Melt butter and golden syrup in a
pan. Take off heat.
|
|
|
Mix baking soda and boiling water in a cup. Add to
melted butter in the pan. Add to dry ingredients.
Mix well.
|
|
|
Roll tablespoon lots into balls, place on trays 5
centimetres apart. Press lightly with fork. Bake for
20 minutes, one tray at a time.
