Sift together first 3 ingredients. Cut in shortening with fork or pastry blender until mix resembles coarse crumbs. Cover and store in refrigerator for up to one month.
TO USE-
Add 1/2 cup milk to 2 cups of biscuit mix. Turn onto floured surface and knead lightly. Pat or roll to 1/2-inch thick, cut with cutter, and bake in hot 450 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Yield- 10 to 12 biscuits.
