Mix together gelatin and 1/2 cup applesauce and soak 10
minutes

Mix together sugar and 3/4 cup applesauce and bring to a boil.
Stir gelatin mixture into boiling applesauce. Boil 15 minutes
stirring constantly. Remove from stove.

|
Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into buttered 8x8 pan. Let stand 24
hours before cutting.

|
Don't refrigerate. Wen firm cut with wet knife rolled in powdered
sugar and wrap if desired.
