1) Cream together butter and sugar in a large bowl.
2) In a separate bowl, combine eggs and milk.
3) In another separate bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
4) Add half of the egg/milk mixture to the butter/sugar mixture; beat until well blended. Then add half of the flour mixture and beat until well blended.
5) Repeat step 4 with other half of egg/milk and flour mixtures.
6) Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 inch glass pan.
7) Bake at 400 degrees for 22-27 minutes.
