Mix flour, Crisco, sugar, & salt with pastry blender. Beat together vinegar, egg, and water. Add to flour mixture and mix with fork. With hands, mold into ball. Chill at least 15 min before rolling. Can stay in refrigerator 3 days or may be frozen.
This makes a good, flaky crust. It tends to shrink if baked empty, but is absolutely perfect as an unbaked pie shell or 2 crust pie.
