Melt 1 c Crisco, water, sugar and salt until sugar is dissolved. Cool. Sift powdered sugar. Put 1 c Crisco into a mixing bowl. Add powdered sugar in gradually, along with the cool ingredients. Beat until it reaches the desired oonsistency (approx 10 minutes), add vanilla and almond flavorings according to taste. Makes enough to frost a 11x17 cake.
