1 tsp. mexican vanilla extract (ok to substitute reg. vanilla)
2 (8 oz.) cans refrigerated crescent dough sheets
Topping-
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, room temp
1/4 cup honey
Instructions
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Beat the cream cheese with 1 cup sugar and the vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
Unroll the dough onto the baking dish. Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture onto the dough, then cover with a second sheet of crescent dough. Stir together the 3/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Using a knife or wooden spatula smooth the mixture over the top of the dough.
Bake in preheated oven untilt he crescent dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 25 minutes, check after 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey. Cool completely in pan before cutting into squares.
