Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Slice yams to ½ inch pieces. Combine with pineapple, butter and cinnamon in 2 quart casserole.

Bake for 20-30 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle pecans and brown sugar over top of casserole. Continue baking until brown sugar has melted.
