Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together softened butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until well combined. Combine flour, cocoa, and salt in a bowl. Gradually add flour mixture to creamed mixture until well blended. Pour into a 13 X 9 X 2 inch greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
