In medium saucepan add chicken pieces , onion, celery, bay leaf and 1/2 t salt. Add enough water to cover and is even with the chicken. Simmer for one hour. Remove chicken and remove meat from bone.

Mix the flour and warm milk together and add to the vegetable water slowly, stirring quickly. Then add the butter. Simmer for 15 minutes to thicken. Begin to cook the rice. Add more milk if the sauce is too thick. Season with nutmeg, poultry seasoning and curry. Add the chicken. Serve.
