2 rounded tbsp salt (1 regular and one soup spoon)
1/2 cup oil
2 pkg dry yeast
4 eggs
2 1/4 cups hot water
Instructions
Mix together 4 cups flour, sugar, salt, oil, and 3 eggs and the white
of the 4th egg, yeast, and hot water.
(combine the 4th yolk with 2 tsp cold water and set aside in fridge).
Add other 4 cups of flour.
Put a little oil in a big bowl and wipe it around the entire bowl.
Put dough in the bowl and cover with a towel and let rise for 2
hours.
On a floured board, braid the challot. Put on a greased tin and let
rise 2 hours.
Brush with egg mixture.
Bake at 350 F for at least 30 minutes.
