     Sandy's Pot Roast

Ingredients
1 seven bone or round bone nice size roast
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 cup boiling water
1/3 cup catsup in 3/4 cup water or less
1 large onion sliced
1 clove garlic chopped
pepper
salt
seasoning salt
 
5 carrots
3 baking potatoes russet
2 cilery stalks

Instructions
Brown roast on both sides in butter on top of stove in roaster. Dissolve 2 beef cubes in boiling water. Mix catshup with 3/4 cup water. Pour liquids on roast after browning. Remove from stove, top roast with slicd onions and put in garlic, pepper,salt,and seasoning salt to taste.
Cook at 300 degrees for 3 hours covered with foil and lid. Turn oven to 325 and put in vegtables which have been cut up as desired--not too small (keep veg. in cold water until ready to use then pour off water)
Cook at 300 for 1 more hour or until veg. are done. (can use any veg.) Serve with lettuce salad like iceberg slice with Grams blue cheese salad dressing.
