Wash, peel, and cut apples into small pieces and place in a large
bowl. Mix the sugar, flour, cinammon, nut meg, salt, and lemon
juice in a seperate bowl then pour over the apples and coat them
in the mixture.
Lay the crust in your pie pan and put the apples on top and
press them down so that they lay nicely inside the crust. Place
small 1/2 tsp size pieces of butter all over the top of the apples,
about every 4-5 inchesand in the middle.
Put the top crust on and pinch the sides all around. Use a fork to
imprint on the edges. Pour the milk on top of the crust to help it
look brown, about 1 tsp or enough to wet the top. Place in oven
at 450 degrees for 20 min - after 20 min use tinfoil to cover the
edges of the pie so that they don't burn. Then return the pie to
the oven at 350 degrees and 45 minutes. Let cool and ser
