While noodles are cooking brown ground beef, chopped onion (optional), garlic salt, pepper and salt in oil over medium heat until beef is fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Add Cream of Mushroom soup and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
Drain noodles when they are finished cooking and return to pan. Add Sour Cream to beef mixture then pour over noodles.
