Base-
Combine first 5 ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, utnil smooth and lightly thickened. Stir in graham crumbs, coconut and walnuts. Press into a 9 inch square cake pan.
Middle layer-
Combine butter, icing sugar, custard powder and hot water. Mix until smooth and spread over base and chill.
Topping-
Melt chocolate squares and butter in top of double boiler. Spread on top of custard mixture. Chill until set, store in refrigerator. Makes 2 to 3 dozen bars.
