1. Preheat oven to 350F
Use mixer to cream together the butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla.
Gradually add flour.
2. Form little balls in the size of your choice.
3. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and make indents in
middle of each bookie with handle of wooden spoon. (Recipe
originally said to use your thumb, but the cookies are very very
hot! Ow!)
Put back in oven and bake another 5 minutes
4. When cool, spoon chocolate filling into the well of each cookie.
Cool in fridge to set chocolate.
