Mix dry ingredients. Separately, mix wet ingredients (except
strawberries). Then thoroughly mix all dry with all wet with an
electric mixer, and then mix in 3/4 cup strawberries.
Pour into greased AND floured bunt pan and bake for 40 min or
until done.
While cake is baking, melt stick butter, mix with about a cup of
thawed strawberries and enough powdered sugar to get the
consistency you want. It is intended to be a glaze, not a frosting.
Cool cake in pan on wire rack for 10 min. Turn onto serving plate
and let further cool. Carefully poke small holes with fork or onion
holder. Slowly pour strawberry glaze over cake, keeping a reserve
to serve alongside the cake for extra drizzle. Right before serving,
dust cake with powdered sugar.
