put cut up escarole in a big cooking pan. add the garlic, salt, pepper, and put the ancovies on top of the vegetable. put the bread pieces on top of the escarole also.
brase with some good stock..about 1/4 cup and the olive oil. when the escarole is done, add some shredded Italian cheese of your choice. This is good for a side dish..or an appt. One of my favorite receipes that remind me of Mommy
