     Beef 'N Cheese Tart

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup prepared barbecue sauce
Cheddar cheese slices
1 tsp milk
1/4 tsp poppy seed
Pastry for a double crust pie
 

Instructions
425F. In a skillet brown meat lightly, about 5 minutes. Add onion and cook about 3 minutes or until tender. Drain excess fat. Add barbecue sauce and stir; set aside. Prepare pastry. Roll out on a lightly floured surface. Place on a cookie sheet. Spread meat mixture along center of pastry, on half of the pastry only, leaving a 1 inch border at edges. Place cheese slices on meat.
Fold pastry over meat and cheese mixture. Seal edges with fork. Brush pastry with milk and sprinkle with poppyseed if desired. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
