1 or 2 broiler-fryer chickens,cut up

Instructions |

|
Combine flour, salt, pepper(s), garlic powder, and
beer. Whisk until smooth, let stand 30 minutes.
|
|
|
Heat oil for frying to 375, dip chicken into batter.
Let excess drip off, and fry a few pieces at a time
till cooked through and golden brown.
|
|
|
Keep fried chicken warm in a slow oven, while frying
remaining chicken.
