Sprinkle 1/2 can French fried onions into baked pie crust.
Brown ground beef. Stir in beans, gravy mix, water, salt, and pepper.
Cook until beans are tender, about 10 minutes.
Pour mixture into pie crust.
Spred thin coating of whipped potatoes over top leaving a 3 inch hole in center.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Garnish with remaining fried onions and serve.
