pierce squash with knife several times. cook in microwave for 5 minutes. cool slightly and cut in half, so you end up with 4 halves. scoop out seeds. place in greased baking dish.
chop apples.
melt butter, add sugar and walnuts. add chopped apples.
stuff squash with apple mixture. sprinkle with cinnamon. bake 30-45 minutes, until apples are tender.
