Combine flour & brown sugar. Cut in butter to make a crumb mixture. Stir in nuts. Set aside 3/4 cup of mixture for topping. Press remaining mixture in bottom of 8x8 inch by 1 1/2 inch baking pan.
Bake on 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. Take out of oven and let cool slightly.
Combine cream cheese, sugar, pumpkin, eggs, cinnamon, allspice, and vanilla into a mixing bowl. Blend until smooth. Poor over the baked crust. sprinkle with 3/4 cup of left over researved topping.
Bake for 30-35 minutes on 350 degrees F. Take out of oven and let cool before cutting.
