In large heavy pot with a little oil, cook onions for about 5 minutes, but do not brown. Place 1 can beans in shallow bowl and mash with fork. Add mashed beans, 2 remaining cans beans, broth, garlic, green chilies and cumin. bring to boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add diced chicken, stir to blend well and heat until chili is thoroughly hot. Top each serving with 3 Tablespoons jack cheese.
