Warm the oil in a medium skilletd. Add the onion and bell pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft.
Add the mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the vegan burgers, tomato sauce, mustard and maple syrup. Add the salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until hot. Serve immediately.
