Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup, level off. In large bowl, combine 1 1/2 c. flour, sugar & salt; blend well. Add dissolved yeat, melted butter & eggs to flour mix. Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at med. speed. Stir in 1 c. flour & whole wheat flour until dough pulls away from sides
On floured board, knead in 1/2-1 c. whole wheat flour until smooth& elastic, about 5 min. Place dough in greased bowl; cover loosely with plastic wrap & let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Grease 3 9 inch cake pans. Punch dough down; divide into halves and shape into balls.
In medium bowl combine all filling ingredients, except butter, blend well. Roll each half into an 18x8 inch rectangel. Spread each with 2 T. butter and 1/2 fillings. Starting with long side, rollup; pinch edges to seal. Cut into 18 1 inch pieces. Place12 pieces, cut side down in pans . Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
