In a large bowl, combine the flour,sugar,salt and
baking powder, mix in cut butter until the mixture resembles course crumbs. Mix in egg and
buttermilk, until a soft dough forms. Roll/pat
dough about a 1/2 inch thick, cut biscuits;place
on un-greased cookie sheet, bake at 375 until
golden brown.

Tips- freezing the butter and then grating it, works
great and if you don't have buttermilk, just mix in
a tablespoon per cup of milk, of lemon juice or vinegar, also try cooking these in a pizza oven.
