Combine egg, onion powder, basil, parsley, ketsup, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil and bread crumbsin a large mixing bowl. Add ground beef, mixing well, but be certain not to over mix. Shape into 8 3/4 inch thick patties.
Preheat grill for high heat. Place burgers on grill and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 14 to 18 minutes (or use your own judgement as to however you like your burgers done). When done,remove from grill and serve warm with buns and contiments of your choice.
