Melt 8 Tbsp. butter. Add 8 Tbsp. flour and stir until well blended and bubbly - about 3-4 minutes.

Slowly add 4 cups milk. Stir often until thick - could take awhile like 10-15 minutes or more since the milk is cold and has to get hot before it starts to thicken.
|
|
|
Use 3 regular size bags of dried beef - chopped into small pieces and add to gravy. No need to salt as the dried beef is salty.
|
|
|
Toast bread and pour gravy over it.
