In a skillet, cook the sausage leaving big grumbles. Remove
the sausage from the skillet and let drain on a paper towel
covered plate. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in
flour, salt and pepper; cook until smooth and bubbly. Stir in
milk. Add sausage to the thin gravy. Allow the gravy to thicken
with the sausage in it. Heat to boiling on medium heat, stirring
constantly. Remove from heat. Makes enough gravy for 1 can
biscuits.
