1 package real parmesan cheese (shredded or you can shred)
1 Onion
T TBSP minced garlic
1 Egg
Sea Salt
Pepper
Olive Oil
Instructions
Pre-Heat oven to 350 degree. Finely chop onion.
Heat pan on medium heat, add some EVOO, chopped
onion and garlic. When onion is transparent, add
ground beef and sausage. Brown, drain, add back
to pan. Turn down heat to simmer, add one jar of
the sauce, sea salt and pepper to taste. Let
simmer on low until time to assemble lasagna.
In a mixing bowl, add containers of ricotta cheese,
egg, 1/2 Parmesan cheese and stir. Add both packs
of spinach and pepper to taste, mix thoroughly. Set
Aside.
To assemble lasagna-
Open other jar of sauce and spoon 1/2 onto bottom
of a lasagna pan. Add a single layer of lasagna
noodles. Spread 1/2 of the ricotta cheese mixture
on top of noodles, evenly. Spoon 1/2 of the meat
mixture on top of ricotta cheese, evenly. Spread
1/3 of the 2 different types of shredded cheeses
on top of the meat mixture. Add another layer of
noodles. Add 1/2 ricotta cheese, 1/2 meat
mixture, 1/3 shredded cheeses. Add last layer of
noodles, spoon remaining sauce to cover noodles
completely. Add remaining shredded and Parmesan
cheese to top. Cover with foil tightly and bake
for 1 hour. Remove the foil and bake 15 more
minutes till top cheese layer is bubbly and
melted. ENJOY!!
