Preheat oven to moderate. Grease (and line) tin.

Sift flour and cocoa into medium bowl and remaining ingredients, beat on low speed with electric mixer until ingredients are combined. Increase speed to medium for about 3 minutes or until mixture is smooth and changed to a lighter colour.
|
|
|
Spread into prepared tin. Bake in moderate oven until cake is cooked, when an inserted knife comes out clean.
|
|
|
Stand cake in pans 5 to 10 minutes, turn onto wire rack to cool.
