Mix sugar, brown sugar and softened butter and cream for at least 5 minutes until butter and sugar are fully combined. Add egg and vanilla.

Mix flour, salt and baking soda in a separate bowl. Combine with wet ingredients.

|
Mix in chocolate chips. Chill dough for 24 hours. Use an ice cream scoop to portion out, and then roll into balls.
|
|
|
Bake at 350 degrees for 12min (they may not look completely done, but if you just let them sit on a cooling rack, they’ll firm up completely)
