|
1) Melt a knob of butter in the saucepan before adding onions. Cook the onions until soft and golden.

2) Sprinkle in some flour to soak up the butter, then add the stock. Allow to boil before adding potatoes, salt and pepper. Leave to simmer for 8 minutes.

|
3) 8 minutes after adding potatoes, add the carrot. Leave to simmer for a further 7 minutes.
|
|
|
4) 7 minutes after adding the carrot pour in peas and milk. Leave for 5 more minutes (stirring frequently) then serve
