Mix together all berries, sugar, and tapioca in a large bowl. Let rest for 15 minutes, stirring gently every 5 minutes.

Fill pastry lined pie pan with berry mixture. Cut butter into small bits. Dot pie-filling with butter. Top with lattice crust. Seal edge of pie.

Brush lightly with milk and sprinkle with sugar.

|
Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven 45 minutes until golden. Loosely place foil over pie to protect from over-browning. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until juices bubble slowly around edges and center looks juicy.
