2 -3 tbsp butter
|

1 cup carrots, diced
|

1 cup onions, diced
|
|
3/4 cup celery, diced
|

4 cups water
|

1/2 cup corn kernels
|
|
1/2 cup frozen peas
|
|
1/2 cup green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
|
|
2-3 tbsp old bay seasoning
|
|
|

4 tbsp crab stock or bouillon base
|
|
1-2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
|
|
1 cup canned, diced tomatoes
|
|
1 cup tomato puree
|
|
1-2 tsp black pepper
|
|
1.5 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
|
|
Fresh crab (optional)

Instructions |
|
|
Saute the carrots, onions, and celery in a large pot in butter until softened. Add water and bring to a boil.
|
|
|
Add corn, peas, and green beans and return to a boil. Reduce and simmer for 15 minutes.
|
|
|
Add remaining ingredients and continue to simmer until potatoes are cooked. Salt and pepper to taste.
|
|
|
Garnish with fresh crab if desired.
