250g Schar Mix Patisserie; 75g butter; 75g dried
mixed fruit (I used sultanas); 150g sugar; 2 eggs;
5 drops Vanilla extract; 1tsp mixed spice; 1 tbsp
GF baking powder, pinch salt.
Using a processor rub butter in sieved flour till
it resembles breadcrumbs; stir in sugar, fruit,
salt, spices and eggs. Bind to form a stiff dough.
Line a dish with baking paper; form small balls
and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in centre of the
oven at Gas Mark 3 for 15mins.
