Sprinkle yeast over warm water in a mixer bowl. Add dry milk, sugar, melted Crisco, and 3 cups flour. Blend at low speed until moistened, and then beat for 3 minutes at medium speed. Using a spoon, stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic. Roll out dough and cut into squares. Sprinkle each square with cheese and shape into rolls. Cover. Let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 45 minutes). Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
