2 large apples peeled & chopped (I use Granny Smith)
3-4 tsp. honey
2 tsp. lemon juice
3-4 T. chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut squash in half and
remove seeds. Place upside down in baking dish and
bake 30 minutes. Meanwhile, combine remaining
ingredients.
Turn squash over, fill halves with prepared mixture,
return to oven, and bake an additional 30 minutes,
or until squash is soft. Serve hot.
