Combine flour, sugar and nuts in large bowl. Mix
lightly. Then add butter, eggs and almond extract
if using. Beat at low speed until mixture
resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 2c of crumb
mixture and set aside. Press remaining crumbs
into bottom of baking pan. Then spread jam evenly
on top of pressed crumbs. Crumble reserved crumb
mixture on top of jam.
