2 lbs. of Italian sausage (sweet or hot)
|
|
3 celery stalks
|
|
1 large onion
|
|
4 carrots
|
|
2 32oz. cans of chicken broth
|
|
2 large cans whole tomatoes
|
|
box of elbow macoroni
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Remove sausage casings, brown in large pot and then
remove from pot.
Saute celery, onion and carrots on same pot for 5
to 7 minutes
|
|
|
Add sausage to pot with other ingredients.
Add chicken broth
Crush tomatoes with hands, add to pot.
Bring to boil, then simmer for 1 hour or more
|
|
|
Cook macaroni per instructions on package.
Add to soup when ready to serve.
