In a BIG bucket or container, cut shortening into flour.
Dissolve salt in water, and mix into flour along with syrup until
well mixed.
Divide dough into portions for 1 crust (size of a big orange).
Shape into balls and put each individual dough ball in a plastic
freezer bag and put in freezer. Makes enough for
approximately 20 crusts - will keep i freezer up to one year.
When ready to use, thaw and roll out on floured board.
