Grease tartlets tins and leave it aside. Roll
out dough and cut 12 circles with a pastry
cutter. Place each of them in the tartlets
tins. Put a teaspoon of mincemeat in each. When
ready cut another 12 circle pieces and make a
slit in the centre of each. Place them on each
one to cover, after brush them with beaten egg
or milk. Bake on 200c for 15-20 minutes till
golden brown. When ready, leave them to cool.
Serve them by sprinkle some icing sugar on each
mince pie --) They are really delicious!! I
have used my own mincemeat which turns out
really good. Enjoy --)
