Oven 375.
Mix together butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla and eggs. In another bowl mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter and blend.
Drop by tbsp. and bake 8-10 minutes.
Frosting - add evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolk, butter and vanilla in saucepan on stove over medium heat. Stir until well combined. Stir 11-12 minutes until thickened. Once thick remove from heat and add coconut and pecans. Spread on top of cooled cookies.
