4 McIntosh apples, peeled and sliced (about 2 lb.)
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tsp cinammon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp butter
Instructions
Toss together first 4 ingredients in a large zip-
top plastic bag, tossing to coat apples.
Cook apple mixture, 2 Tbsp. water, and 1 Tbsp.
butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat,
stirring occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes or until
apples are tender.
