1 tbsp olive oil
|
|
1 lb ground beef
|
|
1 diced onion
|
|
2 cloves minced garlic
|
|
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
|
|
1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes
|
|
1/2 tsp dried oregano
|
|
1/2 tsp dried basil
|
|
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
|
|
|
|
Salt and pepper for taste
|
|
1 package (refrigerated tortellini
|
|
1 cup shredded mozerella
|
|
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
|
|
2 tbsp chopped parsley
|
|
1 can (5 oz) green chilies
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef, onion and garlic. Brown beef for
3-5 minutes. Drain fat.

|
Place beef, tomatoes, chilis, oregano, basil and
red pepper flakes in slow cooker. Season with salt
and pepper. Stir until combined.
|
|
|
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours (low heat) or
3-4 hours (high heat).
|
|
|
Uncover and stir in tortellini, top with cheeses.
Cover and cook on low heat for additional 15-20
minutes.
